Tea Tregothnan
Tea, Truro We purchase our wonderful local tea from the Tregothnan Estate who
have been producing there tea for the last 10 years. Tregothan tea is hand
processed and is entirely free of chemicals and have been sustainable for four
millennia. The 1st true English tea grown in the U.K.
Coffee Cornish Coffee, Portreath We
purchase our fair-trade coffee from a very local supplier who supplies us with
Puro fresh coffee beans, Puro help protect the rainforests. For every cup of
coffee sold money is given to buy and protect areas of the rainforest in
South America. All Puro products are certified fair-trade paying fair prices to
farmers who grow coffee.
Sugar Fairtrade cane sugar is used on the table and we will be using
the same in the rooms when current stocks have been used.
Cornish Cyder & Chutney Healeys
Cornish Cyder Farm, Pehallow We purchase our cyder with a bite come from the
Cornish cyder farm, no more than about 6 miles away. They have been established
for nearly 25 years have their very own orchards and make over 40 varieties of
award winning cyders, plus chutneys and delicious fruit products. Well worth a
visit.
Jams, Marmalades & Cornish Ice
Cream Roskilly's, St. Keverne, Helston. A Cornish company
that have been established since 1960 which understand the full meaning of
adding nautral goodness to their products. We purchase our jams, marmalades
& ice cream from them. Whilst you are here why not try one of our ice cream
cones, mint choc chip or white chocolate and rasberries.
Cornish Butter Trewithen Farm Using
Cornish Ingredients, they work closely with Cornish farmers and their herds of
happy healthy Cornish cows and have a passion for flavours.
Cornish Yoghurts Davas Farm, Penzance
Mollys organic yoghurts all natural ingredients, you can really taste the
difference.
Bread & Pasty's Prima Bakery, Wheal Rose Baking for 3 generations, current bakers
Russell (2nd generation) and Ross (3rd generation) supply us with our cottage
white loaves, cottage granary loaves, splits white and granary, and traditional
Cornish steak pastys mmm!! They are so close you could even smell them
baking.
